Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 300 ml Canada, 14 oz US sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 ½ cups dried coconut fine or medium cut
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
  • Additional graham cracker crumbs for rolling

Instructions
 

  • Combine Wet Ingredients: Melt the butter and combine it with the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until well blended.
  • Add Dry Ingredients: Add the graham cracker crumbs, coconut, and chocolate chips. Mix to combine well.
  • Chill: Refrigerate the mixture for an hour or so before rolling. This will make it easier to handle.
  • Roll into Balls: Roll the mixture into 1 1/4-inch balls. You want to make these on the smallish side, as they are quite rich.
  • Coat with Graham Crumbs: Roll the balls in additional graham cracker crumbs until evenly coated.
  • Chill Again: Chill the coated balls until firm. This will help them hold their shape.
  • Store: Refrigerate in a sealed container to store.

Notes

Use room temperature butter. Don't overmix. Get creative with coatings. Make them ahead.
