Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 teaspoons dried lemon balm leaves or 2-3 fresh lemon balm sprigs
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Optional: Honey or lemon to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat the Water: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
  • Prepare the Lemon Balm: Place the dried or fresh lemon balm leaves in a mug or teapot.
  • Pour and Steep: Pour the boiling water over the lemon balm leaves. Cover and let steep for 10-15 minutes.
  • Strain and Enjoy: Strain the infusion to remove the leaves. Add honey or lemon to taste, if desired.

Notes

Use fresh or dried lemon balm. Fresh has a brighter flavor. Adjust the steep time to your preference. Experiment with adding other herbs like mint or chamomile. For iced tea, brew as directed, then chill and serve over ice. Consult your doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, or have medical conditions.
