  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger sliced
  • ½ tablespoon fresh turmeric or ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
  • cup pineapple chunks fresh or frozen
  • 1 Lemon Verbena tea bag tag cut off
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar optional, for extra weight loss boost
  • Lemon slice optional, for garnish and added flavor
  • Honey optional, for a touch of sweetness

Instructions
 

  • Combine Ingredients: In a medium pot, combine the sliced ginger, fresh turmeric (or ground), cinnamon stick, mint leaves, pineapple chunks, water, and the Lemon Verbena tea bag (tag removed).
  • Simmer: Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over low heat. Don't let it boil!
  • Steep: Remove the pot from the heat, cover it, and let the tea steep for 10 minutes. This allows the flavors to fully infuse and the beneficial compounds to be extracted.
  • Strain: Strain the tea into a mug or heat-safe glass to remove the solids.
  • Optional Add-Ins: Stir in the apple cider vinegar (if using) and a drizzle of honey (if using) to taste.
