Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • cup Butter softened (about 5 and ⅓ tbsp)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 ½ cups Ripe Bananas mashed (about 3-4 ripe bananas)
  • cup Water
  • 1 ⅔ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ cup Chopped Nuts optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the bottom of a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
  • Cream Butter and Sugar: Mix sugar and softened butter in a medium bowl.
  • Add Eggs: Stir in eggs until blended.
  • Add Bananas and Water: Add mashed bananas and water; beat for 30 seconds.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder just until moistened.
  • Add Nuts (Optional): Stir in chopped nuts.
  • Pour and Bake: Pour batter into the greased loaf pan.
  • Bake to Golden Brown: Bake until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 55 to 60 minutes.
  • Cool and Serve: Cool for 5 minutes in the pan. Cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!

Use ripe bananas. Don't overmix. Check for doneness with a pick.
